Reside in my mind if you must
You can hide in my broken creativity.
Confuse others about the friendly ghost
Some think they know with some positivity.

They will enjoy your wit in my laughter
Strangers can hear you in my song list
See your captured dawn in black and white.
Imagine you lurking in my smile with a twist.

Your footsteps and air swirling around me
Playing peek a boo with my sighs
Or jumping up with Hobbes with a cry
Blinking back the tears of sad eyes.

Confusion is invariable and inevitable
Identifying you will be highly unlikely
Let’s prolong the subterfuge with the world
While you permanently reside in my psyche!
